Job Details:
• Multiple shift options available: 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week for 8 and 10-hour shifts, 36 hours for 3 twelve-hour shifts, 48 hours for 4 twelve-hour shifts
• Call required approximately 100 hours per 6 weeks with 1 call weekend per 6 weeks (Friday evening to Monday morning)
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Float required to other OR specialties
• Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
• Must be comfortable scrubbing and rate 3/4 in scrubbing CV/PV/Heart and Lung transplant
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted if they have Level I Trauma experience
• Required certification: BLS
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
• Travel experience required
• Scrub experience mandatory for submission
• Special procedures include heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, ECMO
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• 40-hour orientation provided
• Indiana license, compact license, or Indiana temporary license must be in hand prior to start date
• 2 supervisor references required

With a total of over 700 staffed beds across multiple locations and an average daily census of 70-80 patients, the facility maintains a modern healthcare environment with state-of-the-art equipment and technology to support complex surgical procedures.
