Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring both scrub and circulate skills, with current IA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in the Operating Room within a hospital setting
- Responsibilities include both scrubbing and circulating duties
- Typical work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- On-call required 1-2 times per week and every 4th weekend
- Must be able to verify license and certifications with issuing bodies
- On-call duties are an integral part of this role
- Responsibilities include supporting surgical procedures in both scrub and circulating capacities
Requirements
- Active IA or compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
- Ability to perform both scrub and circulate roles in the OR
