Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine Position in Cambridge, OH
Join a respected physician-led organization in Cambridge, Ohio, known for its commitment to providing high-quality emergency care. With a robust emergency department that serves approximately 27,000 patients annually, this facility is equipped with a 16-bed ED and offers full-time physician coverage. We are looking for an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to cover a minimum of 5+ shifts per month, including nights and weekends, across multiple sites. Credentialing takes a minimum of 90 days.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive medical team.
- Cover shifts as scheduled, primarily nights and weekends (7p-7a, 7a-7p).
- Utilize Meditech EMR for patient management and documentation.
- Engage with on-site administrative support for efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Board Certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with EM experience.
- Minimum of 2+ years of recent emergency medicine experience.
- Clean background, no exceptions.
- Self-Query NPDB must be pulled within the month.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Ohio state medical license (or IMLC with proof of LOQ within 3 business days of acceptance).
- ABMS/AOA IM/FM board certification required.
- Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Proof of COVID vaccination required.
- Malpractice must be included in the hourly rate cap.
