Preschool Teacher
We’re seeking a warm, creative, and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate loves working with young children, fosters curiosity and growth through play-based learning, and creates a nurturing classroom where every child feels valued and supported.
As a key member of our teaching staff, you will plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with early learning standards, ensure a safe and inclusive environment, and build meaningful relationships with students and families.
Preschool Teacher Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere where children feel safe to explore and express themselves.
- Observe, document, and assess each child’s growth and development to tailor instruction and communicate progress with parents.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that adheres to licensing and safety standards.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to ensure program quality and consistency.
- Foster open and professional communication with parents and guardians.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
Preschool Qualifications & Certifications
- Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
- Texas Child Care Licensing credentials and compliance with Texas Minimum Standards for Child-Care Centers.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Preferred:
- 1+ years of experience in an early childhood or preschool classroom setting.
- Texas Early Childhood Certification (EC–3) and some college
- Experience with play-based, Reggio Emilia, or Montessori-inspired teaching methods.
- Familiarity with Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines.
Preschool Teacher Compensation
- Salary $37K - $41K depending on experience
