Wellstar Medical Group is seeking BC/BE Trauma Acute Care Surgeons to join our busy, collegial trauma team at Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, GA.
Level 1 trauma center located in Marietta, just Northwest of Atlanta
Home to the 2nd largest ED in the country
Well established ACS program with large group comprised of physicians and APPs, responsible for covering trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care
Roughly 15% penetrating trauma
Busy EGS service with dedicated robotic access
GME surgery residency program with opportunities to teach residents and medical students
Flexible call schedule with in-house trauma/EGS call

Ideal candidates will have trained at level 1 or busy level 2 trauma centers and preferably done a 2-year fellowship program or have experience. Must be BC/BE in surgical critical care as well as general surgery
