We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Shared Living Providers for personalized support to individuals with unique preferences in our community! The ideal candidate will be able to create a comfortable and engaging environment tailored to the specific needs of each individual. We have several people in the community seeking home providers, would you be interested in helping them find their forever home?

Male client #1 is an enthusiastic Denver Broncos fan who enjoys traveling, especially to visit his brother in Wichita. Support this individual in baking, watching TV, and going out to eat, with a preference for burgers. Also providing companionship and share his love for breakfast and a good cup of coffee in the morning.
Male client #2 is a creative homebody who enjoys spending time outside under a tree. Accommodate Jake's need for space with a basement room in a quiet location. Support his passion for drawing and provide a supportive environment for his creative expressions.
Male client #3 enjoys going for walks, attending church, and visiting family regularly. Assisting him in maintaining a clean living space while respecting his preference for a quiet environment. He would do well with a family without children, as he values his privacy.
Male Client #4 enjoys video games, comedy movies. and a good game of Bingo. He likes to spend time with friends in Garden City and is working on his baking and cooking skills. He would do well with a single male who shows patience and mutual respect. He thrives on consistency and structure.

As a home provider, you share your home with an individual with a disability. Your responsibility is to maintain a safe and healthy home environment for the individual and be a mentor while helping the person as needed with the tasks of daily living.

In this role, you assist withcultivating life skills and fostering independence. We work to match interests and lifestyles between people. You will participate together in activities of daily living, both at home and in the community. Through the matching process, you are able to match with a person whose needs fit the support level you wish to offer. Duties vary for each individual from minimal support (i.e., budgeting, medication, transportation, activities of daily living) to full support (i.e., dressing, toileting, feeding, positive behavioral support, etc.), and the income is commensurate with the level of support provided.

• Provide support for tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, budgeting, decision-making, etc.
• Skill acquisition
• Medication administration
• Medical appointments
• Support with overall health and well-being
• Daily documentation via web-based case management application (THERAP)
• Provide fun and leisure experiences to the individual by providing opportunities of community inclusion, integration and socialization
• Compliance with all state/agency policy and procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members as needed
• Support physical needs of individual served
• Provide transportation

• Assistance with bathing, toileting, feeding, behavioral support, etc.
• Provide support for medical protocols, such as seizure, fall, feeding tube, etc.
• Care for someone with complex physical/medical needs (i.e., hearing impaired, vision impaired, non-ambulatory, etc.)
• Potential support of behavioral issues.
