We are seeking a board-certified Family Medicine or Urgent Care Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri. The position begins on Mar 2, 2026, and features 12-hour shifts with a preference for candidates willing to work weekends and holidays. The ideal provider is comfortable seeing patients of all ages, independently performing urgent care procedures, and thrives in fast-paced settings. Job Details Location: Missouri Start Date: Mar 2, 2026 LOA: 60 days Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Physician Schedule: 12-hour shifts; preference for weekends and holidays Responsibilities and Duties Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages Perform suturing, wound care, and incision and draining procedures Apply splints and conduct x-rays and EKGs Draw blood and manage pediatric cases Work independently without nurse support Additional Information Must be residency trained and ABMS or AOB certified in Family Medicine or Urgent Care (no other boards accepted) Proof of 50 relevant patient encounters in the past 12 months required Current BLS certification required (AHA only); ACLS and PALS preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
