We are hiring a full-time hospitalist and nocturnist position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit, well-established team of 21 physicians at Dignity St. John's.
- Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Dignity St. John's Regional Medical Center earned an "A" rating through Leapfrog Safety.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- Day-time hospitalist 7 AM 7 PM.
- Nocturnist 7 PM 7 AM.
- Part-time position available 7+ shifts per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will manage an open ICU, but no procedures are required for this role.
- Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, discharges, and cross coverage depending on the shift.
- Nocturnists will do admissions and cross coverage.

Compensation:
- Annual full-time compensation is $300k- $342k, depending on the schedule worked.
- Full-time, average of 15 shifts per month with opportunities to moonlight.
- Part-time daily compensation is $1700-$1900 per shift, dependent on the shift worked.
