Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room rapid response position requiring large facility experience and a CO or compact license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a large hospital main Operating Room with 16 OR suites
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with required night and weekend call
- Procedures include total joints, spine surgery, transplants (kidney/liver), robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics
- EMR system is Meditech and experience is required
- Eight-week contract assignment
- Participate in advanced surgical cases utilizing the latest technological operating room equipment
- Expected to take call during nights and weekends as part of the schedule
- No special scheduling accommodations are offered and no time off is permitted during the contract
- Team includes experienced travelers and local CNAs and sitters
- Scrubs are provided according to facility policy
- First-time travelers are not specified as being accepted for this position
Requirements
- Active RN license in CO or compact state is required
- Minimum of one year recent OR RN experience in a large facility
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more over the past 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
