We are seeking askilled and motivated General Surgeon with trauma experience to join and lead ahigh-performing team at a Level III Trauma Center in El Paso, TX. Thisopportunity is with one of America's pre-eminent Trauma and Acute Care Surgerygroups, offering a dynamic case mix, professional development, and the chanceto make a significant impact on trauma care in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a collaborative team of trauma surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Provide surgical coverage for a broad spectrum of emergency general surgery and trauma cases
- Collaborate closely with hospital administration, emergency department teams, and other specialties to optimize patient outcomes
- Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and trauma program development
- Participate in ongoing education, mentorship, and quality assurance activities
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in General Surgery - Required
- Surgical Critical Care certification - Preferred but not required
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a verified trauma program
