The Radiation Oncologist is responsible for overseeing radiation treatments, consulting on inpatient cases, and ensuring high-quality patient care within a hospital setting. Candidates must hold an MD or DO, possess board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology, and have experience with radiation therapy planning and delivery. This role requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to hospital policies and documentation requirements.

Required Skills:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with active medical license
- Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology
- Proven experience in radiation treatment planning and delivery
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced radiation therapy technologies
- Prior work in inpatient or hospital-based settings
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications such as ARRT or equivalent
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctorate in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Radiation Oncology
- Previous experience in high-volume clinical settings is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Must be on-site during scheduled days and hours on February 5 6, 2026
- Availability for rare emergent consultations outside regular hours
- Commitment to documentation of patient contact hours, including callbacks
- Ability to perform outpatient consultations, follow-up visits, and treatment planning
- Possession of valid state medical license and relevant certifications
- Willingness to adhere to all hospital policies and safety protocols
