The DC Lead supervises warehouse associates to ensure efficient daily operations including loading, unloading, inventory control, and quality assurance within a warehouse environment. They maintain cleanliness, operate warehouse equipment, manage shipping and receiving paperwork, and communicate with vendors and customers to support company goals. This role requires prior warehouse experience, strong communication skills, and adherence to safety and company policies.

Job Details:
- Lead and communicate to a team of warehouse associates to complete daily department tasks and company goals effectively and efficiently.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.
- Stage deliveries.
- Maintain supply, part, and equipment inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed parts, placing and receiving orders.
- Participate in inbound and outbound quality assurance processes.
- Ensure accuracy of vendor shipments.
- Maintain inventory control and perform physical inventory counts.
- Professionally communicate purchase order discrepancies to vendors.
- Assist with customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain grounds by picking up paper and trash and cleaning parking lot and entrance to building.
- Maintain stock and merchandise area, keeping it organized and clean.
- Ensure cleanliness of offices, bathrooms, warehouse floor, truck docks, and aisles through mopping, sweeping, and washing.
- Remove trash daily by emptying trash containers, transporting materials to disposal area, and recycling materials.
- Clean and sanitize product per Company standard operating procedure.
- Inspect products for defects and damages when receiving or shipping.
- Monitor shipments and deliveries and prepare, process, and organize paperwork relating to shipping and receiving orders.
- Utilize reports to maintain knowledge of warehouse project status.
- Audit and maintain delivery tracking system.
- Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment.
- May operate other specialized equipment to move and distribute freight.
- Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
- Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
- Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
- Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.
- Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ Years warehouse experience required And
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to be thorough and accurate when accomplishing a task.
- Ability to manage time efficiently to ensure completion of work.
- General warehouse policies and procedures.
- Equipment and function of Powered Industrial Trucks for product relocation and safety inspection.
- Microsoft Office Products including Microsoft Dynamics (preferred)
- DispatchTrack (preferred)
- Sitting frequently

Compensation:
Competitive Pay Rate of $19 hourly * depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.*Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular time.
