Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health role in the Portland, OR area requiring at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a home health setting across West Portland and surrounding areas
• Day shifts are scheduled as 5x8 hours, running from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Caseload includes up to 6 patients per day with a 1:1 ratio
• Travel within a maximum radius of approximately 60 miles and up to 60–90 minutes driving time per day
• Use Epic Remote Client and Rover app for charting, with Oasis required
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating between units is required for this assignment
• Mileage reimbursement is provided at the IRS standard rate
• Attire is business casual; scrubs are allowed but not required, and jeans are not permitted
• All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state as organizational needs arise
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers and may not live within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal requested time off is allowed; all RTO must be discussed with the hiring manager in advance

Requirements

• Current BCLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent skilled home health PT experience required
• Oasis experience is required
• Must have own reliable transportation for home visits
• Epic charting experience required
• License required if applicable
• Accepted with pending license
• Locals considered "local" within a 50–75 mile radius
• SSN, DOB, and at least 2 recent supervisory references required for consideration
