Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience and R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or CNMT, NMTCB(CT) certification for a day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a freestanding cancer center's nuclear medicine department
- Work involves a range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine studies
- Uses GE and Philips nuclear medicine cameras
- Charting is completed in Epic
- Day shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Works every 3rd weekend
- No on-call responsibilities
- May float to the main hospital as needed
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Candidates must wear black scrubs
- Facility is connected by pedestrian bridge for easy access to main hospital
- Returning employees must have at least a 1-year break from prior employment at the health system to be eligible
- Background and license must be free from active issues
Requirements
- Certification as R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or CNMT, NMTCB(CT) is required
- Active NJ or compact license required (license required if applicable; pending NJ license may be considered)
- BLS required
- Minimum of 2 years experience preferred
- Experience performing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine studies
- Experience using Epic EMR preferred
