General GI Outpatient & Inpatient Flexible Schedule
We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist with an active Illinois medical license to join a well-established healthcare group in Central Illinois, within an hour of Peoria. This is an excellent locum tenens opportunity with flexibility and strong support from the existing GI team.
Position Highlights:Minimum Commitment: 5 consecutive shifts per month (more availability preferred)
Setting: Mix of outpatient clinic, ambulatory scopes, inpatient consults, and ED coverage
Call Coverage: Optional at the Locum's Request
Patient Load: Median productivity expectations; balance of new and existing patients
Team Environment: Collaborative group open to working with the physician on scheduling and coverage preferences
Diagnose and treat a range of acute and chronic GI conditions
Perform endoscopies and other GI procedures, No ERCP or EUS Required
Conduct hospital consults, inpatient rounding, and patient admits
Provide new patient access and follow-up care in outpatient settings
Active Illinois medical license
Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Availability for at least 5 consecutive shifts per month
Proficiency in general GI procedures and patient management across outpatient and inpatient settings
