Required Skills:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) license in good standing
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in obstetric care and hospital-based delivery management
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle high-acuity cases
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience as a hospitalist or in a locum tenens role
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Experience working in weekend or holiday shifts
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice in obstetrics
- Prior locum or hospital-based experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Valid state medical license for Pennsylvania
- Ability to work a 24-hour weekend shift
- Travel and licensure reimbursements when applicable
- Compliance with all hospital and state/federal healthcare regulations
