Pennsylvania Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - No Call Required

Secure a predictable Inpatient Acute Care role in Pennsylvania. This local assignment offers a manageable workload with ample support and professional balance.

Highlights

• Only 8-10 shifts per month available.

• Rapid credentialing with temporary and emergency privileges available.
• High level of clinical support with 2 APPs on days and 1 at night.

Practice Setting

• Level 2 Trauma Center.
• Inpatient Trauma and Emergency General Surgery service.
• Adult patient population.
• Inpatient surgical environment.

Schedule

• Mix of day and night shifts.
• Rotating schedule including Monday-Sunday coverage.
• Predictable blocks of time off between shifts.

Procedures and Cases

• Cases include IP Trauma and Emergency General Surgery.
• Manage trauma activations and critical care patients.
• Performance of bedside procedures including I&Ds and lac repairs.
• Chest tube and central line placements required.
• Responsibilities include AM rounds and OR first assisting.

Requirements

• Pennsylvania license required.
• 24 months of experience in Trauma Surgery or Acute Care
• Active ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
