The Patient Care Technician (PCT) assists registered nurses by performing delegated patient care tasks in a hospital setting, ensuring quality and compassionate support for inpatients. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, Basic Life Support certification, and preferably patient care experience. Responsibilities
Performs delegated tasks of patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Utilizes skills which she/he has obtained in educational programs and/or orientation and has demonstrated competency. Participates actively a member of the patient care team.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.Patient Care Experience preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS)certification.
