Interventional Cardiologist Farmington, MO (Full-Time, Perm)
BJC Medical Group is actively seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our expanding cardiology team at Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Missouri. Position Overview:
The Interventional Cardiologist will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiac care, perform advanced interventional procedures, and collaborate within a well-established, multidisciplinary team. The practice emphasizes quality patient care, professional development, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver inpatient and outpatient cardiology services at Parkland Health Center.
- Perform cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), CardioMEMS implantation, and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Utilize the newly renovated catheterization laboratory equipped with dedicated procedural time.
- Maintain a balanced call schedule (approximately 1 night weekly and 1 weekend monthly) with minimal call-backs, ensuring work-life harmony.
- Collaborate with a team that includes two other Interventional Cardiologists, one Invasive Cardiologist, and two experienced Advanced Practice Providers.
- Optionally perform device and pacemaker implantations, depending on experience and interest.
- Document clinical encounters using EPIC EMR.
- Engage in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and community outreach efforts.
- Participate in mentorship programs, supporting recent fellowship graduates and fostering professional growth.
- Contribute to a patient-centered care model within a nationally recognized, physician-led organization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Interventional Cardiology.
- Active DEA license.
- J1 and H1B visa sponsorship available.
- Expected fellowship completion in 2026 (preferred) or 2027.
- Recent fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Open to visa candidates; not accepting locum tenens or 1099 arrangements.
- Strong commitment to quality care and professional development.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $650,000 with a two-year guaranteed period, transitioning to a wRVU-based productivity model.
- Sign-On Bonus: $50,000.
- Fellowship Stipend: $2,000/month available to candidates still completing training.
