Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift assignment requiring a MO or compact RN license and strong ICU background.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Medical ICU (MICU) of a hospital
• Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:2 in the MICU
• Floating required within the Adult ICU cluster and occasionally to Med Surg units with a 1:4 ratio
• Requires working every other weekend and 50% of holidays
• Cerner EMR is used; prior experience is preferred but not required
• Will accept first-time travelers with solid ICU experience in sizable or academic settings
• All requested time off must be included at time of consideration
• Local candidates are eligible at a reduced rate
• 75-mile radius rule for local status

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
• BLS and ABLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years total RN experience and at least 1 year of ICU experience
• Experience in a large facility or academic center required
• Two professional references required
