RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Seasonal travel assignment
• Patient ratio of 5:1 on night shift
• Work on busy medical floor with specialty focus on surgical flap patients
• Care for spinal cord injury patients with stage 4 wounds requiring surgical intervention
• Partner with burn unit to provide care for low-acuity burn patients
• Perform wound care, occasional bowel programs, and light burn care
• Use telemetry monitoring equipment
• Work with Meditech EMR system
• Must have BLS certification and Med/Surg background
• Previous experience working with spinal cord injury patients preferred
• Best suited for RNs who enjoy working on busy floors
• May work in semi-private rooms when hospital census is high
• Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 1.5 tech, and 5-6 RNs
