This position is for a Travel Medical-Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse to provide high-quality inpatient oncology care in a 12-week travel assignment in Tyler, Texas. The role requires at least two years of oncology med-surg nursing experience, EPIC charting proficiency, active RN license, and prior travel nursing experience. The nurse will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 and floating as needed within the oncology unit.

Job SummarySeeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse to support an inpatient oncology unit. The RN will deliver safe, high-quality care to oncology patients while floating as needed and maintaining established staffing ratios.
RequirementsMinimum 2 years of MS Oncology RN experience
EPIC charting experience – required
Travel experience required (No first-time travelers)
Active RN license
BLS (AHA) – required
NIH Stroke Scale – preferred
Floating required
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:6
Weekend Requirement: Half of the contract
Inpatient MS Oncology unit
No local candidates accepted
