Ob/Gyn Physician Coastal Plains, North Carolina 1 hour from Raleigh

Position Highlights:

• Join a hospital-owned women s health center with an established patient base
• Laparoscopic experience required; hospital performs 13 major GYN procedures/month
• No robotic surgery currently offered
• Practice consists of 2 physicians seeing a combined patients/day
• Average 27 deliveries/month, including 11 C-sections
• Call schedule: 1 in 4, shared with another local OB/GYN group
• Clinic hours: Monday Thursday, 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.

Hospital Details:

• 146-bed community hospital
• Three labor rooms and 14 postpartum rooms (convertible to labor rooms)
• Level II nursery; critical newborns transferred to Fayetteville (30 miles) or Wilmington (60 miles)
• Graduate Medical Education program introduced with Family Medicine residents
