Structural Project Engineer
We are seeking a Structural Project Engineer to support the analysis, design, and delivery of building projects across multiple market sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment alongside experienced architects, planners, and engineers while managing small to mid-sized projects from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building systems and materials
- Develop computer models and engineering calculations to support design decisions
- Prepare construction documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and technical correspondence
- Participate in construction administration activities, including review of shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and field observations
- Collaborate directly with clients and design team members and attend internal and external project meetings
- Conduct occasional field inspections and structural investigations
- Support production efforts through Revit modeling and coordination
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in structural engineering with a focus on building structures
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification with active progress toward PE or SE licensure
- Working knowledge of applicable building codes and standards, including IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as RAM, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE, and Revit
- Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take on increasing responsibility and new technical challenges
Compensation
- Anticipated salary range: $80,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience
