Structural Project Engineer


We are seeking a Structural Project Engineer to support the analysis, design, and delivery of building projects across multiple market sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment alongside experienced architects, planners, and engineers while managing small to mid-sized projects from concept through construction.



Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building systems and materials
  • Develop computer models and engineering calculations to support design decisions
  • Prepare construction documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and technical correspondence
  • Participate in construction administration activities, including review of shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and field observations
  • Collaborate directly with clients and design team members and attend internal and external project meetings
  • Conduct occasional field inspections and structural investigations
  • Support production efforts through Revit modeling and coordination

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in structural engineering with a focus on building structures
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification with active progress toward PE or SE licensure
  • Working knowledge of applicable building codes and standards, including IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI
  • Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as RAM, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE, and Revit
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take on increasing responsibility and new technical challenges

Compensation

  • Anticipated salary range: $80,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience
