This position is for a Locum Interventional Radiologist at a level one trauma center in Urbana, Illinois, requiring an MD or DO with board eligibility or certification in Interventional Radiology. The role involves treating conditions such as abdominal aortic aneurysms, pulmonary embolisms, and uterine fibroids, and includes a Monday to Friday schedule with occasional on-call duties. Onsite orientation, including physical and administrative processes, is mandatory before assignment start.
Forgive me, I KNOW that you've probably seen this posting about a hundred times, but why choose us? Our agency typically takes less in commissions, thus more of the bill rate goes directly to the provider. Also, I've been an ECMO/CVICU nurse for 25 years. I'm one of the only Locum Recruiters with a clinical background. I "speak the language," and understand some of the logistics to help me better represent you.
We have a need for a Locum Interventional Radiologist in Urbana, Illinois. This is a 453 bed, level one trauma center with a level 3 NICU.
Open to those licensed in Illinois or IMLC. They have a need over the holidays and then ongoing needs into 2025. They currently have a need every week through Summer 2025, open to whatever you can commit to.
REQUIREMENTS: MD or DO; Board Certified/ Truly Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday; 8A 5P; Call: 1 week out of every 6 weeks. Locum must be able to attend an onsite orientation on a weekday prior to first assignment (typically set for 8:30a-5p), which would include a physical, drug screening, immunization review, administrative paperwork and EPIC Training.
I did some extra digging to find out what type of cases they do. The source I found stated the conditions they treat are AAA's, PE, pelvic congestion syndrome, uterine fibroids, hepatocellular carcinoma, venous ulcers on top of vascular access.
