Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required for duration of contract
• Float required within skillset/acuity
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience of 6 required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, NIHSS
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Charting system experience required (Cerner)
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Skills include accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, chest tubes, CVA care, external CPAP/BIPAP, feeding tube management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring, wound care, tracheostomy care, and various other medical/surgical procedures
• One pre-approved time off period allowed
• No more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract preferred, no RTO first two weeks
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Two supervisor references required

This community hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical care with telemetry monitoring capabilities. The facility offers interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. The hospital serves adult and geriatric patient populations with varying diagnoses and maintains modern equipment and technology to support quality patient care.
