Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring a minimum of one year recent specialty experience and an active RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Work schedule is 7:00PM to 7:00AM
• Thirteen-week assignment length
• Care provided to pediatric patient population
• Responsible for providing specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Documentation and verification of nursing license required through state board and NURSYS
• Scrub or dress code requirements not specified
• Holiday coverage may be required depending on department needs

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of one year recent PICU or relevant pediatric nursing experience required
• Minimum of two years nursing experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• Certifications must be from AHA or ARC and valid through at least the first 30 days of assignment
