RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• 13-week seasonal contract starting January 4th
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No call requirements
• Weekend requirements: 6 weekend shifts per schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Patient ratios: 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity
• Work with specialized cardiac equipment including GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Centrimag ECMO Circuits, Impella CP & 5.5, Prismax CRRT machines, Tablo SLED machines, and Maquet Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must have experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms, titratable drips, hemodynamics, respiratory patients (vents, Bipap, trachs, airvo), open heart surgery recovery, ECMO/Impella/balloon pumps, and CRRT/SLED
• CVICU charge experience preferred
• Participate in procedures including central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and intubations
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be a team player with positive attitude and adaptability
Facility:
This medical center features an 8-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit located on the 4th floor, specializing in critical cardiac care and ECMO services. The unit maintains a staff of 25 professionals and is equipped with state-of-the-art cardiac monitoring and life support technology. The facility provides comprehensive cardiac services including open heart surgery recovery and advanced hemodynamic support, creating an environment focused on high-acuity cardiac patient care.
