The position requires California licensure, DEA certification, and board certification, with involvement in interdisciplinary teams and occasional teaching of students.

Job Description
A Yuba City, California based client is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join an interdisciplinary team. An ideal candidate should be experienced, be willing to work with students, should practice excellent, evidence-based patient care, and should be comfortable treating all ages.
Required Qualifications
- CA NP or PA license
- CA DEA certificate before start date
- CPR certification
- Board certified in field
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
- Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
- Complete annual wellness exams in office and occasional home visits
- Perform therapeutic procedures with prioritizing preventative care
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
- Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy
