Job Description

The Critical Care Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a critical care setting, requiring expertise in various procedures and patient management. Responsibilities include floating within the specialty, managing patient care effectively, and ensuring adherence to protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for critically ill patients.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Assist in intubations and airway management.
• Provide post-operative care and support for patients coming from the operating room.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU, critical care, or PACU.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Comfortable floating within the hospital.
