Shift Details:

• 06:45 PM – 07:15 AM

• Every other weekend

Facility:

• 78-bed general hospital

• Psych unit serving geriatric adults with multiple medical comorbidities

Role Overview:

• Care for patients with depression, suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other psychiatric conditions alongside medical comorbidities

• Provide total care as needed; med-surg background preferred

• Facilitate therapeutic groups

• Manage involuntary and voluntary patient status

• Implement safety measures including restraints and seclusion as required

Requirements:

• Current CT RN license

• CPI or CMT certification

• BLS certification

• Experience in psychiatric nursing

Preferred:

• Med/surg nursing experience
