Position DetailsModality- EP Tech (Electrophysiology)
Contract LengthShift- Days: 4×10-hour shifts
- Schedule: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, 4 days/week
- On-Call Requirements:
- 1 night per week
- 1 weekend every 4th weekend
RequirementsExperience- Minimum 2 years experience
- EP experience required, including:
- Ablations (mandatory)
- Pacing
- Device procedures
CertificationsLicensure- Illinois state license
OR - RCIS/RCES certification
Education- Applicable Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Radiology
OR - Completion of an accredited radiology technology program
Preferred- Special procedures experience
Job ResponsibilitiesImaging & Procedures- Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting
- Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, and radiology equipment
- Obtain images of designated body parts according to physician orders/specifications
Procedure Assistance- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional EP procedures
- Monitor patient response throughout procedures
- Pass instruments and catheters as needed
- Maintain a sterile field
Data & Evaluation- Interpret and evaluate diagnostic data for physician use
