Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position working day shifts with a 3/2 split schedule and a minimum of one year recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital medical-surgical unit on floor 2
• Day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• Med/Surg patient population
• Assignment does not accept local travelers living within a 50-mile radius
• Requests for time off must be less than 1 week in duration
• Candidates must provide a valid state-issued driver's license for consideration
• US Social Security Number required for verification; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Returning travelers must adhere to rehire policies regarding former employment at CHS facilities

Requirements

• Active MS or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent medical-surgical nursing experience required
• No certification may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
