Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires expertise in managing cardiac and stroke patients, along with a strong capability in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias. The nurse will be supported by patient care technicians and in-house phlebotomy teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in a medical/surgical telemetry setting.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including the activation of Rapid Response Teams when necessary.
- Administer oxygen therapy and manage non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.
- Perform patient assessments and chart using Epic.
- Care for patients with complex medical needs while maintaining safety and comfort.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a medical/surgical telemetry environment.
- BLS certification is required.
- New York State RN license must be in hand at the time of submission.
- Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
