Permanent Physician - Family Medicine Opportunity Near Cape Girardeau, MO
We are actively recruiting Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physicians to join an established healthcare network near Cape Girardeau, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a 412-bed facility that provides comprehensive medical services with a strong focus on primary care and specialty access. The facility is seeking multiple family medicine physicians to expand its growing network of providers.
Position Highlights:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- Setting: Outpatient-only practice
- Patient Population: Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement rates are higher for designated rural health clinics (RHCs), offering you a rewarding patient base
- Practice Model: Employed position with access to 20+ primary care providers in the physician network
- Rehab Coverage: Included as part of the comprehensive services provided
- Residency Program: On-site Internal Medicine residency program, and a Family Medicine residency program starting in 2024
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient family medicine care to patients of all ages
- Work closely with Advanced Practice Clinicians, providing supervision and guidance
- Collaborate with an 11-specialist team within the hospital-owned multi-specialty group (MSG)
- Practice in clinics with on-site x-ray and lab facilities, all within a 20-40 minute drive from the hospital
- Provide rehab coverage as part of your clinical responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Board Certification: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine
- Experience: New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply
- Visa Sponsorship: Both J-1 Waivers and H-1b Visas are accepted for this role
- Residency Involvement: Opportunity to participate in the Family Medicine Residency Program starting in 2024
