We are seeking a General or Non-Invasive Cardiologist for locum coverage in Michigan. This role includes a mix of clinic and inpatient responsibilities with call coverage.

Assignment Overview

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Initial 3-month contract with potential to extend
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8-hour shifts with 1:2 call rotation (weeknights & weekends)
• Setting: Combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding
• EMR: Epic with Dragon dictation

Responsibilities

• New and established patient visits
• Imaging and test interpretation
• Optional procedures depending on physician preference and experience, including:
  • Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
  • Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
  • Cardioversions
  • Loop implant/explant
• One APP on staff (currently on maternity leave starting October 2025)
• No supervisory duties

Requirements

• BC/BE in Cardiology (General/Invasive or Non-Invasive)
• ACLS and BLS Certifications
• Minimum of 50 cases in the last 12 months (including at least 25 TEEs if performing TEEs)
• Michigan license or IMLC accepted
