We are looking for a Service Desk Analyst II to provide Level 2 technical support and assist with IT-related tasks for our client. This position will be a full-time contract role and onsite in Nacogdoches and Lufkin.
What You’ll Do
Respond professionally and courteously to all service requests and areas of the business entities
Provide Level 2 technical support to over 14,500 staff using Dameware and remote desktop tools, monitor work queues, and open, update, and close incidents
Thoroughly and accurately document the details of a user request or issue, including diagnostic steps and resolution using existing procedures/documentation
Act as a single point of contact for users, directing questions and reporting problems
Install desktop hardware/peripherals and printers
Activate and manage cell phones/tablets through O365/MDM
Lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. and run cables under desks and furniture as needed
Install individual software packages for users as required
Utilize imaging software to expedite large equipment rollouts
Maintain up-to-date system information for asset tracking
Participate in rotating on-call schedules with the team
Assist with managing the IT warehouse and enter asset information for new shipments
Provide IT support to C-level executives and Directors
Exhibit a great attitude and willingness to learn
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
Minimum of 3 years of experience in break-fix IT services
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software-related issues
Experience with MDM, O365 troubleshooting, and user management
Knowledge of data communication and network concepts, principles, and fundamentals
Strong aptitude or experience in supporting/building data networks
Reliable transportation
Preferred:
Proficiency with LAN, WAN/MAN, data center networks, or wireless networks
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional movement to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$20p/hThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
