Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring telemetry experience, Epic proficiency, and a WI or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Medical/Surgical unit
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Weekend and holiday shifts are required
• Care for Med/Surg patients with telemetry monitoring
• Use of Epic EMR is mandatory
• Floating may be required within skill set or to sites within 40 miles
• Nails must be short and no artificial or acrylic nails are allowed
• Holiday and weekend coverage is expected according to unit needs
• All Ascension positions use an auto-offer process
• Local candidates are accepted but may receive a reduced travel rate due to facility radius rules

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1.5 years of Med/Surg experience
• Telemetry experience is required, including the ability to read telemetry
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
