Job Details:
• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in operating room setting
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital environment
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs
• Participate in patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families
• Utilize healthcare organization standards, policies and procedures in delivery of care
• Participate in promoting cost-effective care and performance improvement activities
• Minimum one year of nursing experience required
• Trauma Level 1 experience required
• North Carolina RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Nursing diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school required
• BSN or MSN from accredited school preferred
