The Certified OB Scrub Tech supports surgeons and the surgical team by preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies during obstetric surgeries. The role involves assisting the Registered Nurse in providing quality surgical patient care, performing scrub duties, and ensuring a sterile operating environment. This position requires at least one year of surgical technologist experience and certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
Plays a vital role in supporting surgeons and the surgical team before, during, and after surgical procedures. Assist in providing quality care to the surgical patient. Responsible for the general maintenance of equipment, room and supplies under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN). Performs scrub duties and assists in maintenance of instruments, equipment and supplies.
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
