We are searching for a new member of the Meijer family! When you join us as a Deli Clerk, you will provide customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. About the position:

• 15-20 hours per week on average
• Primarily will work in the Deli Department
• Ideal candidate needs to be available both Saturday and Sunday as well as various week days
• Ideal candidate will need to be able to start a shift at 5:00 am to break down and stock daily delivery

What will you be doing?

• Build rapport with customers.
• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.
• Stock product and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
• Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.

• You are detail-oriented and organized.
• Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
• Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
• Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.

This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.

$15.25 - $16.80
