Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of acute experience and an active KY or compact license for a 13-week contract.
Responsibilities
- Position based in a hospital Radiology Diagnostic unit
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36/48 hour weekly rotation schedule
- Vascular ultrasound studies with experience in X-ray and CT required
- Patients vary based on census and departmental needs
- Use of GE ultrasound equipment preferred
- On-call required; details to be discussed in the interview
- Participation in bi-weekly orientation provided
- Candidates will be part of a multidisciplinary radiology team
- No local candidates within 100 miles are eligible
- Travel pairs are generally not accepted
- Proof of licensure, two references, and government-issued ID required for consideration
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years acute care experience as a vascular tech
- Active Kentucky or compact state license required if applicable
- Vascular technologist certification (e.g., ARRT) required
- BLS certification from AHA required
- Experience with X-ray and CT procedures required
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
