American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient role with inpatient and ARU weekend coverage, requiring 2 years of experience and a valid CA OT license.
Responsibilities- Work primarily in an outpatient therapy setting with coverage responsibilities for inpatient and ARU on weekends
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Requires travel between locations in Brookings and California
- Treats diverse patient populations, including those with disabilities and developmental delays
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Develops and implements occupational therapy plans to assist patients in regaining independence and daily living skills
- Provides effective clinical supervision to assistants, aides, and serves as clinical instructor for students
- Completes patient evaluations, documentation, and charge capture per organizational standards
- Maintains compliance with state and federal privacy and safety regulations
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment and participates in quality improvement processes
- Modules required during orientation and completed via e-learning
- Only one holiday will be approved as RTO during assignment
- Return staff must have been gone for at least one year to be eligible
- 50 mile radius rule applies; locals accepted at a lower rate
- Current and valid CA Occupational Therapist license required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Occupational Therapy experience
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Must provide copy of all certifications for consideration
- Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- License required if applicable
