Position Overview:

- End Date: Ongoing, through February 7, 2025 (potentially longer)
- Shift Details:
- Weekday Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Weekend Coverage: 1 weekend per month, rounding only from 8:00 AM 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday
- No Overnight Call
Work Details:
- Patient Demographics:
- Age Group: Adults 18+ (No pediatric patients)
- Patients Per Shift: Up to 14 on weekdays
- Bed Count: 67 inpatient beds
- Rounding: Required on assigned patients
- Practice Setting: Inpatient behavioral health department
- EMR System: Cerner
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Must be board certified in Psychiatry
- Licensing:
- State License: Active California medical license required
- Temporary Privileges: Available if needed
- Certifications:
- Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 60 days
- Hospital Privileges: Not required, but admissions are part of the role

- Holidays Observed: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
