Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Acute Care and Med/Surg/Tele assignment with Epic charting experience and every-other-weekend requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Med/Surg/Telemetry setting
- Patient care provided in a hospital environment with 66 staffed beds
- Uses Epic for electronic charting
- Day shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:00
- Every other weekend shift is required
- Floating within scope and between like units is required
- Block scheduling may be considered
- On-call is not required
- Must adhere to a royal blue and white scrub dress code
- System limits to 2 contracts, after which a 6-month break is required before returning
- Team support available in a specialized LTAC environment
- All RTO requests are subject to manager's discretion
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Med/Surg and telemetry nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year to return as a traveler
- A 50-mile radius rule applies and local candidates within this distance are not eligible
- No first-time travelers accepted
