Cath Lab is an upbeat, fast-paced unit dedicated to cardiovascular patients. Cath lab focuses on many cardiac related diagnoses. Cardiac Cath Lab works closely with Cardiovascular physicians and their clinics to complete both routine and emergent procedures.Position Details:
Scheduled Shift: 4 -10 hour days-0645 to 1715 plus after hours call.
- This unit requires excellent critical thinking skills and quick decision-making skills.
- Due to the diverse nature this unit there are numerous educational opportunities for our coworkers.
- 3 Procedural Rooms
- 3 Staff Members per Team
- 24/7 Leadership support
- Collaborate daily with ancillary departments.
- Call required with a 30 minute response time.
Other Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
