- Shift Description: 12-hour shifts available, including 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 2p-2a, 7p-7a
- Weekend Requirements: Yes
- On Call Requirements: No
- License Requirements: Active Kentucky license and DEA required at the time of presentation
- Certification Requirements: ATLS, BLS, PALS
- Board Certification: Must be BE/BC in Emergency Medicine
Job Description:
- New ED with 75 exam rooms under construction, opening late 2024-25
- 24-hour Cath Lab
- Scribes work alongside physicians
- Additional 10-bed overflow unit
- No call required
- Residency requirements: EM residency required
- EMR: Epic
- ED Volume: 65,000
- Specialty Backup: All specialty backup available, except for Ophthalmology, OMFS, and hand surgery
Temporary Privileges:
- Most files are granted temporary privileges prior to the credentials meeting being held due to the rapid turn-around time.
- Temporary privileges may be granted for an important patient care need or to an individual serving as a locum tenens for a member of the Medical Staff.
- Temporary privileges are valid for 120 days or until the file receives full Board approval, whichever occurs first.
