We are seeking an experienced Neonatologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Alabama starting Jan 5, 2026. The position involves approximately 10 shifts per month, each consisting of 24-hour rounding plus call. Candidates must be board certified in Neonatology with recent clinical experience and hold or be eligible for an AL license or IMLC. Job Details Location: Alabama Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 LOA: 60 days Provider Type Needed: Neonatologist Schedule: 10 shifts per month, 24-hour rounding plus call, ongoing from January Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a hospital setting Perform 24-hour rounds and be available for call coverage during assigned shifts Manage a range of complex neonatal cases in accordance with current best practices Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Complete and maintain accurate documentation as required by the facility Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to neonatal care Additional Information Board Certification in Neonatology required Minimum of 1-year post-fellowship clinical experience required Must have recent Neonatologist experience within the past 12 months At least 6 months of clinical experience within Neonatology required AL license or IMLC eligibility required Must complete prescreen questionnaire and submit a CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
