This is a full-time gastroenterology physician position based in Conway, South Carolina, focusing primarily on outpatient and inpatient endoscopic procedures including ERCP and EUS. The physician will work in a well-established, financially stable non-profit hospital with advanced medical technology and strong community ties. The role involves a 75/25 clinic to endoscopy split, supported by a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities for J1 and H1B sponsorships.

- Immediate need
- Reason for search: department growth
- 75/25 split on clinic vs. endoscopy
- 11 - 12 Patients per day for procedures; 20-25 per physician seen in the clinic
- Each physician has their own designated RN for support
- 5000+ cases per year in the endoscopy area Äì 500 inpatient/4500 outpatient
- 150+ ERCP and 200+ EUS annually and volume continues to grow
- 8 day call 1 & 4
- Consultation Services only for IP
- No tech specifics are required
- 5 MDs & 3 NP in the clinic now, 1 NP Ω day each day
- Inpatient NP signed starting in February 2026
- 3+ weeks wait time Endoscopy Area:
- 4 procedure rooms and 8 holding rooms (pre and post operative area)
- Scopes Äì Olympus 180 and 190 series (HD scopes)
- Brand new C-Arm (2025 purchase) is available in the department
- Colonoscopies are done with Propofol and anesthesia support All of our procedures are done with propofol in our unit, but if the doctor travels to ICU to do a procedure where anesthesia is not there, then they would do that procedure with conscious sedation 5K cases: 500 IP / 4500 OPMedical Center (established 1928):
