ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: December 15, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130

ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York RN license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Willingness to float to telemetry and/or med/surg units as needed (1:5 patient ratio)
• Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend and every other holiday

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to telemetry and medical-surgical units as needed to support patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
